Deadwood’s Most Intimate Concert Series — Followed by the Official Afterparty at The Landmark

Announcing 2026’s Concert Series

Deadwood’s cultural calendar has a new crown jewel: The Art of Song, an exclusive concert series at the Scott Jacobs Gallery. Held just a short walk from us on Main Street, these intimate nights bring legendary songwriters to Deadwood for an evening of storytelling, acoustic sets, and the behind-the-scenes history of the hits that shaped modern country and pop. With only 136 seats available, every show feels personal, emotional, and unforgettable.

But the experience doesn’t end when the last chord rings out — it continues at The Landmark Hotel & Casino, the official hotel partner and home of the Art of Song Afterparty. As the preferred lodging for the series, The Landmark offers guests a seamless evening: a short walk from the gallery to our warm, boutique-style Adams Lounge, where cocktails, conversation, and late-night hospitality extend the energy of the show. Our soft seating, curated drinks, and relaxed lighting make it the perfect space to decompress, relive your favorite moments, and enjoy the company of fellow music lovers.

Each Art of Song evening begins with a pre-show cocktail hour at the gallery — heavy hors d’oeuvres, wine, beer, and champagne — before artists like Jeffrey Steele, Danny Myrick, Rivers Rutherford, Sarah Buxton, Leslie Satcher, Alyssa Bonagura, Matt Scannell, and Joy Williams take the stage for 75–90 minutes of world-class songwriting and storytelling. Once the event concludes, guests step right into The Landmark’s version of late-night Deadwood: live gaming for those who want to keep the night exciting, signature cocktails for those who want something cozy, and the type of atmosphere that feels like a natural continuation of an intimate concert experience.

Staying at The Landmark not only places you close to the gallery — it elevates the entire weekend. Start your evening with a beautifully designed space to get ready, walk to the gallery for a world-class show, and return to your home base for the official afterparty. Our rooms, lounge, and casino were designed for nights exactly like this: meaningful, memorable, and beautifully paced.

The Art of Song brings world-class music to the Black Hills — and The Landmark is where those nights become full stories. Join us for the afterparty, stay with us for the weekend, and make your Art of Song experience unforgettable from beginning to end.
