Adam’s Room – Includes the Raining Gold Lounge and Second Floor Rooftop Patio

This unique, contemporary space houses a full-scale bar and can host gatherings of up to 150 guests. Named after W.E. Adams himself, this room is filled with plush, unique seating options, custom lighting, carefully restored wall murals, and a stunning view of our two-story installation, Raining Gold, as well as beautifully restored large-scale windows to enjoy Historic Sherman Street, Outlaw Square, and the Black Hills beyond.

Included is the raining gold lounge which features a two-floor art installation that gives the viewer the impression that the Black Hills gold, shimmering with its silvers, coppers, and golds, is in constant motion. It perfectly captures the feeling we want everyone to have at The Landmark – that luck and luxury are at your fingertips.

Also included is our second-floor rooftop patio. Grab a bite and meet us outside! Join us in Deadwood’s warmer months in enjoying the atmosphere and wonderful company that a trip to The Landmark ensures. This casual open-air setting has charming lights, and stunning views toward both Main Street and the hillside Victorian homes of Historic Deadwood.

Whether you’re catching the game, meeting a client, hosting a retreat or gathering with friends, this multi-functional space adapts to your needs. With five TVs, seating overlooking Sherman Street, and generous table and lounge arrangements, it’s as suited for casual drop-ins as it is for full-scale private dinners or business presentations.

The room can comfortably accommodate intimate meetups or host up to 60 seated guests, making it a flexible setting for everything from informal happy hours to seated events, celebrations, or team gatherings

Rent Both Spaces

For groups seeking a complete experience, The Landmark offers the option to rent both the Adam’s Room and the Sports Bar & Kitchen together. This pairing provides a social event area and a dedicated dining or meeting space—creating a seamless flow between mingling, meals, and memorable moments.

Fourth floor rooftop

Some exclusions apply.

Our fourth floor rooftop offers an open-air setting overlooking a beautiful mountain side.  This space is exclusively for the use of hotel guests or those hosting a special outdoor experience, including intimate weddings, receptions, and memorable celebrations. Table and counter seating comfortably hosts groups of up to 50 people.
