John Sheldon IV, General Manager of The Landmark Casino & Hotel, proudly announced the opening of the highly anticipated 30-room boutique hotel, a project four years in the making. According to Sheldon, the new hotel offers custom and unique accommodations unlike anything else available in the Black Hills, setting a new standard for luxury and comfort in the region.

Each guest room showcases a distinct, personalized design, thanks to the collaboration of Las Vegas-based Cuningham Architects and Rapid City-based Chamberlin Architects. Among the many highlights is a private 1,200-square-foot rooftop deck exclusively for hotel guests, providing an elevated experience in the heart of historic Deadwood.

The hotel is seamlessly integrated with The Landmark Casino, housed within Deadwood’s largest historic building spanning 40,000 square feet. The casino offers live gaming, including blackjack, poker, and 120 slot machines. Guests can also take advantage of versatile event space for gatherings and celebrations, as well as enjoy two bars and a restaurant that elevate dining and nightlife in the area.

The completion of the hotel also activated a liquor license for the casino, expanding the range of amenities available to guests.

“From its carefully curated design to the variety of amenities, the hotel is unlike anything else in the Black Hills,” said Sheldon.

Reservations are now open for stays beginning December 30, 2024. Guests can book their stay at www.deadwoodlandmark.com.
